Lush Mountain Photography

August 26, 2008

I had the privilege of photographing these two wonderful people in the lush, green Mueller Park Canyon. It was a nice change of pace….and a great location for photos. I must say, “Miss A” is one exotic looking lady. She is going to be a stunning bride. You are LUCKY “Mr. S!”

Sweet Stephanie

August 25, 2008

Have you ever seen a bride that wasn’t sweet? Well, this girl is the winner, she takes the cake! She was wonderful to work with and we even had an entourage of excited girls during the shoot. Stephanie’s mom, cousin, niece, sister, and great-grandmother were all there. Talk about pressure to get fabulous photos….well it wasn’t hard because Stephanie is so dang cute!

Stock Family

August 14, 2008

Talk about a fun family. I think I laughed the entire time! Each of the members of this family were so funny and what a wonderful day for shooting! The sky was overcast and there was a slight breeze, although I must say the breeze developed into a bit more….but they were fantastic sports! Thank you for a great time Stock Family!

Awesome House

August 12, 2008

O.k. so most of you know that I do real estate photography. So far I have not posted any of the photos i have taken because technically they belong to Circlepix. Besides, unless you are looking for a house to purchase, looking at photos of houses could get boring. These particular photos belong to me and the Realtor has given me the o.k. to post them! I am only posting some of the cool exterior shots. If you know of anyone looking for a house of this grandeur in Kaysville let me know, trust me I would love to come and visit LOL!

Fun at the Skate Park

August 12, 2008

This shoot at the skate park was one of the most exhilarating shoots I have ever done. Talk about bravery, I was lying on the ground and shooting as bikes and skateboards jumped OVER me. Not one of them landed on me though, so I was pleased. But as I always say….anything for a great picture!!!!

La la la LIESEL!!!!

August 10, 2008

I was fortunate enough to meet Miss Liesel while she was here visiting for the summer. Let me tell you this girl has an incredible laugh and I LOVED it when she would just crack up in the middle of a shot. The results are amazing. I couldn’t have asked for an EASIER girl to photograph. This girl loves life and lives it to the fullest! I am so glad I got to spend some time with her!

I am ecstatic to tell you about a new friend I made! I met Lori on Monday, and guess what? She is a florist! She is so fabulous that if I were getting married, I would want her a part of my wedding. These are just a few of the wonderful flower arrangements that she has done for some weddings. I want to tell you a few very interesting facts about Lori. (In her own words) “I don’t wear jewelry, and don’t crave chocolates often, but my husband still has it easy because he knows that all he has to do is buy me flowers and I glow. I love to create beautiful and different arrangements, and it’s like the photo thing…I’m capable of really different and interesting haute couture things, which is why people hire me…but they usually end up getting the roses and daisies with the wrapped stems and they feel like they got an amazing arrangement for a great price. I love making people happy, but the real fun is when they give me free reign and I get to make what I want…and what I want tends to STILL make the bride happy too, so that works well.” Well….enough said, isn’t she fab.????

Making Friends

August 6, 2008

I feel such a special connection with a family after taking their photos, and truly consider them my new friends! It is a very intimate thing to photograph people, to capture their emotions and the unique bond they share as a family. Once again, I had a wonderful time with this family. “Mr. B. and Mr. P.” were so cute and full of life. I just love the red hair and the cute little toe head, but just check out those blue eyes! I really do love making friends this way!

Are you wondering why I keep talking about sunshine? Well…..I have finished processing all of the photos from the shoot with the darling family from Phoenix, and I was really excited to add more sunshine to the post! The mother was so worried that we didn’t get enough cute photos because little “Miss S” was tired and not in a photo mood, but I think it is safe to say that there are plenty of wonderful photos to choose from. I don’t think it is hard to capture wonderful images when I get to work with a family that is as cute as they are!
