The first picture in this series will be one of my all time favorite photos (yes I KNOW this already!) The look on the brides face says it all! A hummingbird flew by to get some goods from the bouquet, and wow….what a picture. Also what a day for bridals, the most unexpected things happened during the entire shoot. If anyone is truly interested, I have quite the list. The bride was fantastic despite all of the mishaps, plus she stayed glamorous looking the entire time to boot! This shoot goes down in my history book as one in a million. Oh yeah, did I mention the hummingbird thing? It was pretty cool.

Do you watch GTU? Melissa Payne was a guest host on the show today. I had the awesome privilege of photographing her darling family last week, and my photos were featured on the show! She did an amazing job of hosting (it was like she was born to be on t.v., not to mention how fabulous she looked). She also talked about food allergies and some of the struggles her children have relating to the allergies. If you know anyone with food allergies, you might want to check out her blog. She has some great resources for you. Her blog is: http://www.gotglutenfreekids.blogspot.com/. She has just started it, so if you have comments, questions or anything you would like to share with her, she would love it!
I love photographing weddings. Everyone is always so happy! It fills me with wonder, why can’t life always be this bliss? This particular wedding was a lot of fun and in a gorgeous location. “Miss C” was spunky and full of smiles. I was shooting as second camera for Mr. Jon….(see the previous post) and wow…..”Miss C” got a lot of great shots.
It is always fun to collaborate with other photogs! I have had the privilege of working with the always fabulous Jon on several projects lately. He is fun, funny and very talented! I wish I could bottle up all of his funny jokes and use them at any given moment! It would come in handy during those dull moments that occur in life!
Let me introduce you to “Miss S” from Wyoming! I am still amazed at how much energy this girl had during the entire shoot. It was hot, and muggy outside and she was still full of pep. I kept wondering how she channels it all, and then I found out she is a cheerleader! After the shoot, she wowed both me and my daughter with some cool stunts. But the best part of the whole day? Just look at her awesome smile!
