Gap Baby?

July 31, 2009

This is the second time I have taken photographs of this little princess and if I didn’t know any better, I would have thought she was a Gap model. Seriously! Here is one of my favorites from the session and trust me, you won’t want to miss the rest. I’ll post them over the weekend. Hey, that gives you something else to look forward to huh?

Can you feel the energy?

Before you watch this you will need to scroll to the bottom of my blog and pause the playlist, and make sure your speakers are turned up for the video. I normally am pretty straight laced when it comes to posts on my blog, but I could NOT help putting this video up. I saw this on Jon Woodbury’s blog, and I laughed so hard I almost cried. Enjoy!

I.E.A. Awards

July 25, 2009

I have become very fond of event photography. I get to meet a lot of really interesting people in many different industries. This time around I photographed an awards banquet for I.E.A. (Intermountain Electrical Association) at The Little America Hotel. Awards were given out to companies such as Wasatch Electric who was the contractor for projects like The Real Stadium and the light rail project to name a few. As always the people were nice, the lighting was crappy, and the food looked divine. The best part of the evening was that I left the event armed with quite a bundle of names to choose from if I am ever in need of a great electrician!

I am excited to get some of Amy and Kevin’s wedding photos up. It was a wonderful day with a fabulous couple. Congratulations you two! Click here to view Amy’s bridals.

Birthday Boy

July 18, 2009

Happy Birthday Mr. “S”! These are photos from a session that I did last May. I really get my exercise on the shoots with the little ones. (It’s a good thing….) I spent most of the session chasing the birthday boy around while mom fretted on the sidelines that we wouldn’t capture any great shots to commemorate this little cutie’s 1st birthday. The worries were unfounded. Here are some of my favorites!
