This set was done for a mom, her daughter and a few friends. The day of the session it had been raining nonstop and we were unsure if we should cancel or go for it. I am glad we didn’t cancel the session, the light was perfect and it wasn’t too hot either. I dig pictures with overcast skies…I think that came from my time living in Washington. So don’t stress too much if you have a session planned on a day with rain…sometimes the photographs turn out better than expected; all because of some rockin’ weather.
Yes, what a lovely wedding. Another fine opportunity to work as 2nd camera for the always fabulous Jon Woodbury. One of the coolest parts of the evening was when a swing song came on and Jon put his camera down and went out to bust a move! He used to be on a dance team at the U of U, and I might add he is a great dancer. What a cool bride too with her gorgeous Maggie Sotterro Dress, live Mariachi Band, gorgeously decorated tables, catering from the Marriot Hotel and to top it off after the Mariachis left a NIGHT FULL of DANCING with a great DJ. Awesome. Thanks Jon!

Soooo many of you have asked about the black box in the post for Lauren’s Bridals. Here’s the scoop…and it is a weird one so be ready. I used Pictage to create this slide show and embed it in my blog. I go to my blog to see if it works and Voila…it does and I think it is lovely. (NOT TO MENTION A BIG TIME SAVER) It was so easy to do then of course I am stoked about the new feature Pictage has to offer. (DID I MENTION IT WAS A TIME SAVER?) The next morning I start receiving comments from people that there is a black box on my blog. (sans the slide show) Well to make a long story short, if you are viewing my blog with Internet Explorer you will get a black box. If you are viewing my blog with FireFox you will get a slide show. I have let the technical support department at Pictage know and they are supposed to be “working out the bugs.” If you are dying to look at the slide show, install Firefox…it is better anyway! :0)
This is the fourth time I have had the opportunity to take pictures of the “B” Family from Wyoming. They are the coolest, funniest family I think I have ever met. Here is your preview…you guys rock! Oh and if you have never seen Nacho Libre before, it comes highly recommended by this family. WATCH IT! :0)
